In the Reloaded version of my blog, I'll write about Iran, its nuclear program, its culture, and most importantly, myself.

Iran's Iraq-involvement evidence

President Bush accuses Iran of meddling in United States' meddling in Iraq. Why should I believe someone who has made false accusations before? I'd believe it only if the evidence is examined in a court with representatives from both sides: US and Iran.

CERNIG has a very interesting post about Iran's Iraq-involvement. He questions both the evidence and the arguments used provided by the Bush administration.

This is what Javad Zarif (video) has to say about the accusations:
"The evidence that has been produced, in fact, fabricated, is preposterous.... If you look at the evidence, the dates that are used in these mortars are written in American date format, putting month first and date [year] second. Whereas nowhere else in the world, people use month first and date [year] second....
This] says that this evidence is fabricated, as was the evidence that was fabricated before the Iraq war in order to launch an aggression ...
It points to a dangerous policy that is being pursued by this administration.
This dangerous policy] is to create a crisis to escape forward; That is to blame somebody else for the results of an adventurism, which everybody knew would result to this disaster..."
Also, watch Brzezinski before The Senate Foreign Relations Committee: He implies that the Bush administration is preparing a erroneous flag in order to have a pretext to attack Iran.

Thanks Amir. I hadn't seen the Charlie Rose interview with Javad Zarif ; it's very interesting.
